Bringing together smallholder farmers from different districts of Cajamarca, this coop has been focused on harvesting quality beans since 2019. From the districts of Chontali, Pomahuaca, Sallique, and Jaen, these 219 smallholders work together to produce exceptional beans.
By utilizing the Swiss Water Process, this coffee is effectively decaffeinated by matching carbon and green coffee molecules for meticulous caffeine extraction. This ensures that the coffee maintains its character and quality through the process.
Decaf Peru FTO is smooth and sweet with very mild acidity. Honestly, if the label didn’t say decaf, we would think it’s regular coffee. Look for big notes of honey and apple up front when this coffee is hot, and subtle notes of roasted almonds when it begins to cool off.
