Sourced from Palmares, the second largest subdivision in the region of Alajuela, this coffee is grown in rich volcanic loam and an ideal climate. Gathered from many small farm members, the Coopepalmares cooperative produces a quality regional blend. These co-op members not only sell their coffee internationally, but also run multiple stores and clinics within their community.
Focusing on sustainability, this coffee is processed in a facility certified by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) for their earth friendly practices. Using organic fertilizer and recycled water, Monte Crisol is processed in an environment that is both eco-friendly and community-driven.
This coffee is the perfect well-rounded cup with tasting notes that make you feel like you’re biting into a candy apple. It’s both warm and crisp with balanced acidity and a sweet finish.
