Aurelio Villatoro was formally trained as a mechanic. After completing school, he returned to his father’s coffee farm. He has been gracing the world with excellent coffee ever since and has won multiple awards. La Basa is grown in the western part of Huehuetenango, just a stone’s throw from the southern Mexican border.

In this cup we were pleased to find a smooth, creamy texture imparted by lactic acidity. Look for a pecan flavor and chocolate finish. We highly recommend pairing this coffee with a truffle or two (or a dozen).

Packaged in 12 oz bags.
