Every year we look forward to tasting the coffees grown on Francisco Morales’s farm. And every year we are extremely satisfied. Not only does La Esperanza produce tasty coffee bursting with cherry and orange juiciness, it just keeps getting better harvest after harvest. This is the whole point of relationship coffees: to invest in the long term so that it may grow and progress continuously. That’s what our importing partners at Onyx Coffee exceed at, and we’re ever so happy to work with them and the Moraleses this year.

We often call our Guatemalan coffees from Huehue our “all day drinkers” because there really isn’t a bad time to be drinking them. The flavor is smooth and mellow and sits somewhere between citrusy Africans and heavy bodied South Americans.
