Florencio Villatoro produced this coffee along with the help of his family. The Villatoro family is well-known by us and others for producing excellent, smooth, sweet coffees in the Huehuetenango region. We’re very happy to feature El Diamante as our first lot of 2019 crop Guatemalan coffees. If the quality in these beans is any indication of what’s to come for the rest of the year, we’re going to have a good time.

Be sure to give this cup some time to breathe. It starts out smooth, creamy, and caramelly. As it cools, expect an increase in citrus acidity. Some of us began to reminisce as we sipped, remembering long summer nights gathered ‘round a campfire with graham crackers and marshmallows.
